  • Good Hardness and Toughness: BKR-90H is a lime-titania type electrode, while BKR-90 is a basic electrode. The deposited metal from both can improve Mo high-speed steel, providing stable hardness and crack resistance. Particularly after heat treatment, higher hardness can be achieved while maintaining toughness².
  • Excellent High-Temperature Softening Resistance: It exhibits excellent resistance to softening at high temperatures, making it suitable for high-temperature metal friction conditions².

Mechanical Properties²

  • BKR-90H: Hardness can reach 720-830HV, 61-65HRC, and 83-90HS.
  • BKR-90: After one tempering at 150°C for 1 hour, hardness is 63-67HRC and 87-95HS; after two temperings at 550°C for 1 hour, hardness is 83-90HS.

Welding Process²

  • Preheating: Generally requires preheating at 300-500°C.
  • Post-Weld Treatment: To prevent cracking, slow cooling with insulation measures is necessary after welding. LS-50 can be used as an intermediate layer to effectively prevent cracks. Additionally, tempering at 550-580°C can improve hardness and wear resistance.
  • Drying: Before use, BKR-90H electrodes need to be dried at 150-200°C for 30-60 minutes; BKR-90 electrodes need to be dried at 250-300°C for 30-60 minutes.
